Housekeeping Assistant - JCA

"If you enjoy team work and get satisfaction from a job well done, as well as meeting and helping new people, you're coming to the right place"
About Me

This is the second season I have worked as a Housekeeper here at Condover. I am from a Housekeeping background, having worked in guest houses and originally for The National Trust.

Favourite part of the job

I get a great deal of satisfaction working within the beautiful Elizabethan building that is Condover Hall. It is a really atmospheric place and I enjoy the buzz of activity when the children are around.  Camp UK is my favourite time of year. It’s great to see the whole site united with one group: there’s a real family atmopshere and it’s interesting learning about other cultures, faiths and traditions.

Best work memory

We had a large Hindu group  come to the site  and there was a fabulous procession down the main drive, with drummers, singing and priests in orange robes. Very exciting and uplifting!

Why should you join JCA?

If you enjoy team work and get satisfaction from a job well done, as well as meeting and helping new people, you’re coming to the right place.

What qualities do you need to be a seasonnaire?

Helpful, positive, friendly, with a can-do attitude. If this is you, come and join us!
