Regional Ski Sales Account Manager

An exciting opportunity of Sales Account Manager is now available to join the Skibound Sales Team in Brighton. Skibound are dedicated to school ski travel to Europe and North America.

Your new role:
  • You’ll be establishing relationships with existing and new party leaders from schools in the UK, over the telephone and via email to secure and grow school ski trip confirmations
  • Giving clear guidance and advice you’ll be handling all aspects of the enquiry, quote and booking.
  • Answering queries from school party leaders on all aspects of their ski trip prior to their confirmation, costing the trip, presenting the details of the resort, hotel and logistics to ensure the proposals meet the party leaders group requirements
  • Support new product development projects and market research
  • Proactive approach to producing and managing your call lists and other data requested by the Sales Manager
  • Producing quotation letters/online toolkit responses and invoices through to payment for their trip
  • Successful generation of revenue, margin and volume in line with individual targets as agreed with Sales Manager
  • Maintain up-to-date information relating to current campaigns, special offers, operational changes, product updates, competitor products and offers as required
  • Visit accounts, attend account meetings as and when required
  • Implement new business development activity, gathering market information and identifying decision makers for tours
  • Establish repeat business relationships to aid your personal achievements within the team
  • As someone that enjoys creating order, maintaining our database of all the schools information, trip preferences in your account area on our in-house CRM system is something that will come naturally to you

 

About you:
  • You’ll be a true team player who uses your own initiative to see what needs to be done with a strong desire to succeed
  • Be able to demonstrate a history of success in a sales focused role
  • Computer literate with use of Word/Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work to and achieve set targets
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work throughout the day
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Provide and demonstrate excellent customer service skills to clients and colleagues alike
  • Ability to quickly grasp new products, marketing initiatives and hold a lateral thinking approach to sales
  • Knowledge of skiing and ski resorts

 

Benefits and working hours
  • Operating Mon to Fri 08:30 – 17:00 (during peak-season it may be necessary to work additional hours)
  • 25 days holiday per year
