Kitchen Porter/ Night PorterSkiBound France
Can’t cook, won’t cook
Love the buzz of a kitchen but don’t quite have the knife skills? You’ll be a crucial part of our kitchen team, ensuring our chefs have all the tools of the trade to deliver service. From pot wash to simple food prep by the end of the season you’ll have made steps to progress in this ever growing industry.
Calling all night owls
The Night Porter element to this role will give you the best of both worlds, a dual role that gives you the chance to work night shifts and enjoy everything the slopes have to offer the following day.
We’re looking for people who…
- Have a good attitude
- A willingness to learn
- Able to keep up with the pace in a busy kitchen
- Prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
Not forgetting the formal bits!
Previous work experience in this industry is desirable but not necessarily essential. A willingness to learn and someone who is reliable is key.
I have just finished working my first Summer season with Skibound, and am so excited to start my first ever Winter season!
Favorite part of the job
I would have to say that one of my favorite aspects of working for Skibound is having the chance to work and be a part of such a great team. You will make friends for life!
Best work memory
I have made so many amazing memories at SkiBound and I’m looking forward to making so many more. One of my many favourite moments has to be when we were cleaning down the hotel at the end of season, we put on some music and everyone started dancing, and there was such a great atmosphere.
Why should you join Skibound?
You should join SkiBound because you get to work in a beautiful place and make amazing friends and memories.
What do you do during your time off?
There are so many different things to do during your time off. One day you could be rock climbing the next day you could be white water rafting. Summer activities have included swimming, hiking, biking and bungee jumping. In the Winter I look forward to learning to Ski. One of the best things is that most of these activities are a bonus included into your SkiBound package or cost only a little extra.
What qualities do you need to become a seasonnaire?
To become a seasonnaire you must have a good attitude towards work and a fun and friendly personality.
