What will I be doing?
As a Chef De Partie at the Chateau you will be part of a small kitchen team that produces over 60,000 quality meals per season. Assisting the Head Chef you will work with 2 other chefs to produce high quality food for which the Chateau is renowned for.
You will also have the chance to impress the staff with your cooking skills during the rotational staff menu week – each chef takes it in rotation (4 weekly) to write and produce a full staff menu which should be balanced and on budget.
You will also be responsible for the upkeep of all the legal paperwork and HACCP procedures as well as involved with order control, stock rotation and stock taking.

Experience in supporting and coaching Junior chef’s would be beneficial but overall a passion for cooking and sharing your skills and knowledge is most important. Previous work with volume catering is an advantage, but a well organised and well-rounded chef in the basics is preferable. You should have a good solid knowledge of allergy and dietary menus and be happy to work with children.
