Condover Hall boasts over 40 different activities to choose from and can host over 500 guests at one time – a super exciting and unique place to work! This is a seasonal vacancy to start from now until October 2024 with the option to return for the 2025 season.
What will I be doing?
- Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms
- Cleaning communal areas of Condover Hall
- Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards
- Ensuring the storerooms are stocked with necessary linens, guest supplies and cleaning equipment
- Helping to decorate the centre for events
- Working in a fast-paced and often physically demanding environment on our busy guest turn around days
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative and happy to try new things
- A team player – but also happy to work as an individual
- Reliable and responsible
- Previous experience working in a housekeeping or cleaning position is desirable but not essential.

- This role is paid at from £11 per hour
- The role is to be based at JCA’s flagship activity centre, Condover Hall, Shrewsbury
- This role is from now to October 2024
- Part time hours to work a mix of Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday
- Full training will be provided including Health and Safety & Safeguarding.
